From David: This exercise is inspired by David's son, Jasper's love for story and especially fantasy stories. Most nights, so we understand, Jasper suggests two words for David to make up a story with the last being always a small boy. Eg. A wizard, a magic up and a small boy. So to adapt this to our group, we brainstormed thirty words and put them into a cereal bowl. We were allowed to choose a small girl or a small boy.
Names which are popular in Jasper's world are things like:
evil army
trolls
goblins
witches
magic sword
etc.
We added in sylph, salamander, plague, villagers, pitchfork, dragon, etc. Every story was unique and it was fun, even for those who do not exercise our fantasy writing muscles as often as Jasper's Dad.
